What is it?

Mindstrong’s Executive Coaching is results-driven; starting with want you want for yourself, your team and your business. Your coach will challenge and support you in achieving your goals and moving the business forward. If you want to take your personal development to the next step, then you can add a 360° Assessment to your coaching.

What does it cost?

For a 2 hour coaching session, we charge £500 (+VAT), how many of these sessions you have is entirely up to you. Typically we recommend a series of 6 sessions, over a 6-9 month period. What you’ll really want to know is that £500 a session is a worthwhile investment. We know that our coaching supports leaders in delivering great results and recommend an initial meeting with one of our coaches to see if it makes sense for you. We are happy to discuss pricing where you have a number of individuals wishing to undertake coaching.

What is it?

The Leader as a Coach is a 1 day masterclass for leaders who want to be able to coach, develop and bring greater unity to their teams and to use coaching conversations to be more effective in everyday interactions, at every level.  We don’t just teach you how to coach, we provide an exciting and engaging learning environment.  We get you coaching whilst you’re still in the training room; giving you the chance to iron out any creases and really hone those skills.

THE CHALLENGE

The Challenge does exactly what it says on the tin! A bit like throwing you in at the deep end to see if you’ll swim, The Challenge drops you into a highly-demanding, time-sensitive situation and observes how you react. Piloting a £10 million Boeing 737 flight simulator, which is used to train professional pilots, you get to experience the exhileration and adrenalin, whilst we put you to the test; assessing your individual skills and capabilities.

What is it?

Participants work together in teams of 3 to fly an aircraft from Manchester Airport to London Heathrow, without any training!  Sounds impossible?  Whilst challenging, (the name of the programme is not very inventive) it’s not impossible.  We’ll give you detailed instruction manuals, which contain all of the technical information you’ll need to complete the mission – it’s up to you to decide which bits of info you’ll need!

Our coaches will monitor your every move; observing how you react under pressure and critically, how you work with the rest of the team.  Each participant will be given detailed feedback on their performance and will work with their facilitator to develop personal action plans.

  • Background briefing
  • Planning and preparation time, against the clock
  • In the plane: Take off from Manchester Airport, but will you reach London Heathrow and land the plane safely?
  • Individual feedback sessions, including development of detailed action plans
  • Follow up: A coaching call with your coach, in which you will discuss implementation of your personal action plans and ongoing development

The Challenge costs £1800 (+VAT) per person and takes place at Cambridge Airport.  Lunch is included.  If you have a team, The Challenge is an excellent way to see how well they work together when really put to the test.

What is it?

Advanced Presentation Skills shows you how to be an exceptional presenter and addresses those areas of communication that we know leaders commonly struggle with.  How we communicate directly affects how good we are at our job and how good other people believe us to be at our job.  Poor or inadequate communication skills limit our potential, both in terms of how effective we are and our career progression and yet, the ability to communicate with real impact is a skill that can be learnt and developed.

Course Content

This is a 2 day programme. Day 1 takes you through the steps to become an exceptional and impactful presenter. You will cover:

  • Defining your goals – What do you want to achieve?
  • Tailoring techniques, opening and closing techniques and dealing with questions.
  • Controlling the room and environment to achieve maximum impact.
  • Preparation and practice techniques.
  • Body language and dealing with nerves and their physical manifestation.
  • Injecting energy, enthusiasm and passion, the use of storytelling and moving your audience to action.
  • Presentation practice with feedback.

Day 2 addresses the specific communication capabilities required to be a highly effective leader:

  • Negotiation techniques; learning how to communicate a clear message and gain buy-in from your audience.
  • Influencing styles; achieving a win/win outcome.
  • Coaching techniques for handling difficult conversations.
  • How to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
  • Active listening techniques; letting your audience know you’ve heard and understood them.
